Marble City Travel Wins Kilkenny ‘Business of the Year’

Congratulations to Tom Britton and his team at Marble City Travel in Kilkenny, which recently won ‘Service Provider of the Year’ and the overall ‘Business of the Year’ at the annual Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce Awards.

Liam Herlihy, Group Chairman, Glanbia, presents the Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce ‘Business of the Year’ Award to Tom Britton, Owner and Managing Director of Marble City Travel, together with Mayor Sean O h’Argain; Donie Butler, President, Chamber of Commerce; and Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan TD

These follow hot on the heels of three awards that the agency won at Travel Centres’ recent annual conference as well as the National Growth Award presented at Royal Caribbean International’s inaugural awards at the Shelbourne Hotel.

Dominic Burke of Travel Centres said: “Tom is one of a new breed of highly professional and focused travel agents who represent the future of the retail travel industry in Ireland and who are clearly showing that exemplary service levels and a ‘can do’ attitude are more than up to the task of competing with online competitors!”
