Maria Targa Introduces New Salou Holiday Experience Programme

Maria Targa Montserrat, Director General, Salou Tourist Board, along with Xavier Graset, President, La Pineda Tourist Board, and Coro Miguel, PortAventura, came to Dublin to promote the new Salou Holiday Experience programme to the travel trade.

Included in the new Salou Holiday Experience are return shuttle transfers from Reus Airport (transfers from Barcelona Airport €15 extra), selected accommodation and board basis, and local rep service. Optional excursion programmes including Tarragona, Barcelona, Wine Tours, Walking, Cycling, Historic and Cultural Tours. There are three day passes per person to PortAventura – with asses in your hotel, so no queueing. However, none of these packages include flights.

The new package is designed to enhance the experience of holidaying in the region, including PortAventura, which has recently spent in the region of €125 million on new initiatives for the park. The Roller Coaster, Aquatic Park, Cirque du Soleil and Ferrari Park are all making PortAventura a must see and do on a visit to Salou.

The other prize winners on the night were Matt Corcoran, King Travel, and  Elaine McManus, Budget Travel.
