New Falcon Pirates Village Opens for Summer 2013

Falcon Holidays has launched a new and unique holiday concept for families this summer in Majorca. A significant investment has been made in the Gran Santa Ponsa Pirates Village, which is exclusive to Falcon in Ireland.

Twin pirates Daniel and Matthew Robinson, aged 7, enjoy some swashbucklin’ fun at the launch of Falcon Holidays’ new Gran Santa Ponsa Pirates Village in Majorca, which will open for family holidays this summer and is exclusive to Falcon in Ireland

The resort has been designed to look like a typical pirate’s village with lots of on-site themed entertainment including a splash pool complete with fortress, galleons, waterfall, water cannons and a lighthouse, daytime activities including an interactive treasure hunt, and a kids club with games, cartoon animation workshops and face-painting.

Guests will also receive a one-day entrance pass to Katmandu Theme Park, which includes an upside-down fun house, a 4-D ride and mini golf. Return taxi transfers are also included.

Charlotte Brenner, Falcon Holidays’ Marketing Manager, said: “The pirate themed village is perfect for anyone looking for something a little bit different for their summer holiday. 

We are very excited to be launching this new holiday concept for holidaymakers of all ages. The whole resort has been designed using a pirate’s theme, including the accommodation, restaurant and outdoor swimming pools, and it promises to offer a unique and unforgettable experience for holidaymakers of all ages and will create memories that will last a lifetime.

One-bedroom apartments are available at the resort (sleeping up to three adults and one child or two adults and two children) and prices start from:

  • €1,650 for seven nights self-catering in May for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children including a free child place*)
  • €2,114 for seven nights self-catering in June for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children including a free child place*)
  • €1,766 for seven nights self-catering in September for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children including a free child place*)

Early bookers can take advantage of free child places, based on a first come, first served basis.
