New Guide to Retiring to Bali

Thinking of retiring? A guide to retiring to Bali is now available for purchase and immediate download from the BaliExpat website. Indonesia offers people over the age of 55 a special retirement visa and there are a growing number of people who are choosing to spend their retirement years living in Indonesia. Bali is the first choice for many expats as the island boasts a unique culture, warm weather year round and a very affordable cost of living.

While there are many books and websites devoted to retiring in South America, Thailand or the Philippines, little has been written about retiring in Bali. In an attempt to fill this gap, the information portal BaliExpat has launched this new book.

The book aims to help people to understand what it is actually like to live in Bali, rather than just visiting the island for a holiday. Visas, finance, buying property, insurance, medical care and finding accommodation are just some of the topics covered in the book, which also contains interviews with people who have already retired in Bali – their tips and advice are invaluable for anyone contemplating the move.
