New Website and App

At Shannon Airport we strive to constantly update and improve our website. This year saw the launch of our new website and app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Our aim, when we developed the site, was to provide our customers with everything they need to know from the planning stages of a trip right through to boarding the aircraft at Shannon. Shannon Airport Website

The information is broken down into four key steps: Plan, Prepare, Park and Relax.

The Plan section covers everything you need to know to plan your journey from Shannon. It covers timetables, summer destinations, winter destinations and package holiday information.

The Prepare section offers advice on how best to prepare yourself for your journey. It covers a range of topics including airport security, EU liquid restrictions, US pre-clearance and other topics that passengers need to consider in advance of travel.

Did you know that the best car parking rates for Shannon Airport are available on our website Our car park at Shannon is just across the road from the terminal, making parking your car a simple and hassle-free process. Car parking can be pre-booked online in advance, giving you one less thing to worry about on the day.

Now that you have all the formalities out of the way, the Relax section provides information on things to do at the airport, from surfing the net with our free wi-fi, or relaxing in our executive lounge, to eating and shopping at the airport.

We have enhanced the timetable section of the site to include connecting flights with low-cost airlines. This allows you to see all of the options available when planning a trip from Shannon, no matter where the final destination is.

Using the Shannon Airport app you will find information on flights, including travel advisory notifications, getting here, destinations, airlines, tour operators, shopping, parking and all the latest news at your fingertips. The app can be downloaded from

We hope that these new developments will help make the journey through Shannon Airport as stress free as it should be.
