New Uniworld Joie de Vivre Top-Selling Ship for 2018

Growth for Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection in 2017 is already strong and prospects for 2018 continue to be positive, said Kathryn Beadle, Managing Director, at a ‘Thank You’ lunch for media in the Patrick Gilbaud 2-star Michelin restaurant in the Merrion Hotel.

Expressing surprise that the media were mainly drinking sparkling water instead of the champagne on offer, Kathryn went on to describe the wonderful and unique product that Uniworld offers to the trade. The difference between river and ocean cruising is borne out in smaller number of passengers (120) compared to the ‘floating hotel’ ambience, making the experience of river cruising way out of the ordinary.

The 2018 launch of Uniworld’s new ship, Joie de Vivre, is already the top-selling ship in the fleet for 2018. The new millennium market product targeting the under 45s will also be launched in 2018 under the brand ‘U for Uniworld’.

Sharon Jordan, Country Manager Ireland, who will be taking maternity leave early in August, had earlier welcomed Kathryn Beadle back to Dublin and thanked the media for their tremendous support in covering the brand over the years.
