Oman certainly knows how to host the trade, as Alison Cryer from the Sultanate of Oman Tourism and her team proved at a trade evening workshop complete with film shows and authentic Omani cuisine in Brooks Hotel, Dublin.

Oman is located in the Gulf region and is bordered by the UAE,it appeals to families, single travelers ,groups,couples and cruise passengers.
Last year the sultanate attracted 7,450 Irish visitors, an increase of more than 20% over 2012. Getting there from Dublin is easy with Etihad Airways, who offer double daily flights from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, with connecting flights to Oman.
There were some great prizes on offer and the winners included Rachel Fitzgerald of Trailfinders, who took home a new Mini iPad compliments of the Oman Ministry of Tourism.
