Royal Caribbean International is linking with the number 1 smash hit TV show with sponsorship of Modern Family. The new season of the multi-award winning USA sitcom airs at 8.30pm on Sky 1 (also repeated on Sky 2) and the show is expected to attract over one million viewers per episode across the UK and Ireland before finishing at the end of June.
Royal Caribbean’s branding features before and after the show, in the middle ad break and also in trailers for the show across Sky TV. The branding idents feature footage of Royal Caribbean’s ‘brand ambassador’, the broadcaster and former Olympian Sally Gunnell and her family enjoying many of the family-favourite attractions onboard Liberty of the Seas, which is one of the most popular ships among the Irish with easy air connections to its European port in Barcelona, Spain.
Royal Caribbean is accompanying the show sponsorship with a 2 minute 30 second specially commissioned video feature of Sally Gunnell and her family on Liberty of the Seas.
