Colin joins Lorraine Quinn and Jennifer Callister in maintaining the company’s position across Ireland and will be spearheading several ship visits to Belfast in 2013. He will contribute to growing the business by driving the 2013/14 season that will see greater emphasis on the onboard experience with innovative and market leading offerings.

This new role bolsters the recent appointment of Jennifer Callister as seamless maternity cover for Jenny Rafter’s major account manager position and ensures support for addressing the differing needs of the market across major accounts, cruise specialists, high street agents, home workers and online players.

Colin reports directly to Lorraine Quinn, Head of Sales for Ireland, and brings over 16 years of travel industry experience to the position including two and half years with RCL as Key Account Manager for Scotland – a role that he will continue to cover alongside the NI region.

Colin’s background includes previous roles with Thomson Cruises where he also covered sales for Northern Ireland, as well as Island Cruises and Thomson/First Choice Retail.

Lorraine Quinn said: “I am looking forward to working with Colin and I am sure the trade partners he will be looking after will join me in welcoming him as he settles into the role.  Investing in the recruitment someone of Colin’s calibre highlights how serious RCL Cruises Ltd is about further success across Ireland.”
