Roman Tarragona

Roman Tarragona

“The city has charmed me with its hospitality. I believe, even for those who are well-travelled, that it is the most pleasant place of all in which to rest.” These are the words of Lucius Anneus Florus on a visit to Tarragona in the second century.

You will no doubt feel the same as you stroll through the Old Quarter, walk down to the Serrallo fishing quarter to taste the Mediterranean seafood, or take a dip in the Mediterranean waters of the town that was so loved by Caesar Augustus.
