Royal Caribbean Cruises Cuts UK Commissions

Royal Caribbean Cruises has decided to cut the rate of commission paid to UK travel agents to a base rate of 10%. The change will take effect from 1st January 2013. The decision was made to encourage agents to stop discounting. However a spokesperson for the cruise line told Irish Travel Trade News that RCCL has no plans currently to apply this reduction in the Republic of Ireland.

Celebrity Reflection sets sail on Conveyance - Sept 2012

The UK cut will apply to Royal Caribbean International and to the premium brand Celebrity Cruises, but not to Azamara Club Cruises.
