Sarah McCarthy Celebrates Success at International Conference

Travel Counsellor Sarah McCarthy is still celebrating after winning ‘Best Travel Counsellor Ireland’ at the company’s annual international conference in late November.

Cork-based Sarah received the honour in Liverpool when she was named as the top Irish Travel Counsellor out of the company’s 45 agents across the Republic of Ireland – for the third year in a row. Having achieved phenomenal sales and more commission than any other Travel Counsellor, Sarah is also in the top 20 out of a total of 1,200 agents worldwide.

She commented: “I feel extremely proud of what I have achieved and I am also very grateful to everyone that helped me to succeed – my husband, family, friends and the team in Travel Counsellors Ireland, and across the world, who have provided me with the support and tools needed to build my business to what it has become today.”

Sarah, who has three small children under eight years of age, has been a Travel Counsellor for six years and has grown her business steadily year on year. She added: “Travel Counsellors is a special company to be part of and I look forward to what the future holds for me and my business.”

Gold Travel Counsellors

The Irish operation also now boasts five Gold Travel Counsellors, based across the country, who have collectively achieved more than €4.8 million in sales over the past 12 months.

The company is expecting to recruit more agents in Ireland over the next 12 months as it continues to grow and further enhance the support, technology and global buying power for the benefit of its agents.

The leading travel company now has 45 Travel Counsellors running their own home-based travel businesses across the Republic of Ireland, and a further 1,150 in the UK, Australia, the Netherlands, South Africa, Canada and, most recently, Dubai.
