Sea France Goes into Liquidation

Ferry company SeaFrance has been liquidated by France’s Tribunal de Commerce after the European Commission ruled that a bailout by the French Government was illegal. Eurotunnel has offered to buy the company’s three ships and to lease them to a new operator, but P&O Ferries has warned that it would refer such a plan to the European Commission.
