SuperBreak Launches Guaranteed Free Place Groups Policy

SuperBreak Launches Guaranteed Free Place Groups Policy

Agents can now take advantage of a new guaranteed free place policy that short-break specialist SuperBreak’s groups department has launched. For every 20 adults travelling, the 21st will be accommodated for free. Introduced to help agents attract more groups business, the operator is also keen for agents to promote the added service that the groups department can provide to assist in the smooth running of the group break.

Open six days a week, group organisers can call the groups team for ideas and assistance when deciding where to travel and what to do while away. SuperBreak is able to hold options/take deposits on many bookings and will arrange for rooming lists to be sent to the hotels in advance to ensure efficient check-in. On overseas flight-inclusive breaks, the groups department will ensure all API information is loaded and online check-in and boarding passes are arranged to make things run as smoothly as possible.

Rosie Bowes, Groups and Specialist Sales Manager, said: “We can offer assistance for groups travelling for all occasions, be it a special birthday or anniversary, company incentives and residential conferences to our most popular, stag and hen parties.

“Once the accommodation and travel is sorted we look at activities that will suit the group, from afternoon dance classes, quad biking or an evening at a casino in the UK to beer bikes, flamenco show or white water rafting overseas.”

Wendy Cameron, Business Development Manager at SuperBreak, exhibited at this month’s ITAA Trade Show, where she met Mary King, Country Manager, Travelsavers.

Repro Free: Thursday 21st July, Dublin Airport:
Aer Lingus welcomed a piece of Irish aviation history into its hangar at Dublin airport today as it received a Douglas DC-3 aircraft hailing from the 1940s and 50s and freshly painted in the Aer Lingus livery of that era. The DC-3 was the fifth aircraft type to be operated by Aer Lingus in 1940 and at that time was part of a fleet of just 5, while today’s fleet now stands at 63 aircraft operating more than 100 routes to UK, Europe and North America. The DC-3 aircraft will feature in Bray Air Display and Foynes Air Show this weekend.
