Nine awards were presented to eight TCs including: Best Newcomer – Sinéad Lonergan; Best Business Increase – Laura Beirne-Gormley; Best Cruise – Fidelma Brady; Best Margin – Jeanette Coughlan; Most Helpful Travel Counsellor – Roger Barrett; and Best Corporate Sales – Jennifer O’Brien.

Awards were also presented to agents who utilise the company’s in-house dynamic packaging system, Phenix, to build their business, tailor-make packages for their customers and control the margin they make. Sarah McCarthy was awarded for achieving the Most Phenix Sales through the system, significantly contributing to her growing her business over the years, while Mandy Walsh was recognised for Best Travel Counsellor Package Sales using the company’s Quote and Book system within Phenix.

Sarah McCarthy was also delighted to be honoured with the Best Travel Counsellor Award for the sixth year in succession, having reached unprecedented sales of almost €11 million for an individual, over the past nine years.

Sarah said: “I was absolutely thrilled to receive ‘Best Travel Counsellor Ireland’ for the sixth consecutive year. It was a very proud moment for me and my family and this certainly makes all the hard work worthwhile. I became a Travel Counsellor back in 2006 and I must say I have never looked back. I have a wonderful relationship with my clients and I feel privileged to be part of this truly remarkable travel company.”
