Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai for Ultimate Honeymoon

The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai is now rated number one out of the top 26 hotels in Thailand. Located in the cultural and historical area of Northern Thailand, this hotel offers the ultimate in privacy and luxury. Despite its secluded setting it is readily accessible from Chiang Mai International Airport, which is a 15-minute drive, and a mere 10 minutes from the centre of Chiang Mai.

The hotel sits on 24 hectares of lush green vegetation and rice fields and has been built in a traditional Thai Lannai style (a Lannai in Thai is a million rice fields). It is so authentic that one feels on arrival like having entered a time machine and being transported back in time for 300 years. The hotel is truly magnificent.

The hotel has a total of 123 rooms split between luxury rooms and opulent private villas. It took 10 years of construction to create this truly unique venue.

The villas are all two storey teak wood offering total privacy, with total luxury. Some feature a plunge pool,outdoor jacuzzi,swimming pool or sala overlooking rice paddies.

The cost of quality and luxury here is not within the range of many, but those who choose to visit will not be disappointed.The range of accommodation here varies from 80 sqm to over 250sqm.

There are eight very different dining locations, headed the flagship Le Grand Lamma, this is where Charles and Diana dined when they stayed at The Dhara Dhevi Chaing Mai.
