TIGS Captain’s (Eileen Penrose) Prize Outing at Carton House

At the TIGS Captain’s Day, held on Thursday 12th September at Carton House, Co Kildare, Captain Eileen Penrose (Emirates) welcomed the 62 golfers who played the O’Meara course.

Travelport sponsored the outing and Catherine Brennan, Tara Hynes and Joanne Madden were on hand to give everyone a goodie bag before heading out to play and to make sure that everyone got a burger at the 10th. Sinead Reilly, Travelport’s General Manager – Ireland, later presented the fantastic prizes along with Captain Eileen Penrose, while Blue Insurances sponsored the Hole-in-One Competition.

Stephen McKenna was the gents winner with a fantastic score of 42 points, and Karen Keogh won the ladies competition with 37 points. The prize for the Hole-in-One Competition was a car, and Jim Tobin was only inches away with his tee shot on the par three 14th hole.

The next TIGS outing is at The Castle on 17th October.
