Travel Agency Licence for Alpharooms.com

Sheffield-based Alpha International Accommodation Ltd, trading as alpharooms.com, has been awarded a travel agency licence, TA 0714, by the Commission for Aviation Regulation.

The company, which has been trading for over 11 years, commenced as an online bedbank, and has been active in Ireland’s travel industry, but has also been growing in recent years to offer discount worldwide travel, including flights, hotels, airport transfers (at 140 major airports worldwide), car hire and travel insurance. It is ABTA and ATOL bonded and now has an Irish travel agency licence.

The website offers flights from Dublin, Cork and Shannon, with prices in Euro, and has a counter showing 196,919 “Happy Irish customers and counting…” The company has over 100 employees and a portfolio of over 70,000 hotels and apartments in 6,000 destinations worldwide. Jamie Shuker is Managing Director and Daniel Morley is Marketing Director.
