Riviera will now join the 50 or so other suppliers who cater for the group’s growing sales throughout Ireland. Travel Centres managed to grow its agency base by a further 14.5% during 2012 and expects to grow by a similar margin this year.

Stephen Sands, Riviera Travel’s General Manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with Travel Centres and already have plans in place to conduct webinars with agency staff over the course of the coming weeks so that they can more effectively promote Riviera’s diverse range of river cruises and exciting tour itineraries.

“Cruising represents the fastest growing sector in travel worldwide and river cruising in particular is going from strength to strength, so we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for both our companies in the Irish market.”
