Travel Counsellors Ireland Launches New Recruitment and Consumer Websites

Travel Counsellors Ireland launched a new recruitment website earlier this year, and is getting set to launch a new site aimed at consumers in the coming months. The aim of both sites is to communicate clearly the company’s new brand message: ‘With us…it’s personal’. Website 1 - Story 5

The sites are designed to ensure that consumers and potential recruits are able to get a feel for Travel Counsellors online, while still maintaining the personal message. As such, information is presented in an easy to understand format and highlights the importance of getting in touch and talking to someone – which is core to the company’s business model.

Cathy Burke, General Manager at Travel Counsellors Ireland, said: “We are very proud of our new sites because they cleverly utilise technology to show what we are all about in a way that is accessible to a wide audience. The recruitment site has been successful in giving travel professionals an interesting and useful insight into life as a Travel Counsellor. In particular, the ‘reasons to join’ pages, and the ‘life as a Travel Counsellor’ sections, have had fantastic feedback from potential recruits.

“Our Irish Travel Counsellors tell me they are especially excited about the imminent launch of our consumer site. We believe that it’s a fantastic tool that will help them to grow their businesses. We will never sell online, but we appreciate how powerful the Internet can be to spread the word, so developing a site that will do this affectively is very important to us.”

Each Travel Counsellor will have their own page on the site where they can share their travel blogs, personal profile, and customer testimonials. It will also be very easy for consumers to search for a Travel Counsellor, by name and by location.

Kathy O’Sullivan, an Ireland-based Travel Counsellor who has been with the company since 2005, said: “Travel Counsellors has always been innovative and forward thinking in its technology. One of the key reasons my business thrives is through the ongoing support of the company in coming up with unique and improved ways of helping us to grow our businesses. The new website is just the latest example of this and my individual page provides the perfect marketing tool to get my message to a wide range of consumers. It will also give me more credibility because my page will look so professional. I can’t wait until the launch of the new consumer site!”
