Travel Industry Companies Win Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards

Travel Industry Companies Win Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards

The winners of the 2012/2013 Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme have been announced at an awards gala dinner in the Burlington Hotel. Twenty companies that operate at the highest levels of business performance were recognised at the gala – including Blue Insurances and Tour America.

Three companies were also recognised for high quality submissions in the areas of strategy, capability and commitment, which are the cornerstones of the Best Managed Companies programme.

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme is open to companies from all 32 counties on the island of Ireland.

Blue Insurances

Blue Insurances was given the award for management strength, ability to innovate, strategic initiatives and financial performance – all the elements that contribute to a Best Managed company. The ‘Best Managed’ designation is an important marketing tool for the winning companies – but, most importantly, the award celebrates the efforts of the entire company.

Ciaran Mulligan, Joint Managing Director of Blue Insurances, said: “This award is an amazing achievement for all of the staff at Blue Insurances; we are delighted to win such an award, which is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all of our staff in achieving the highest standards possible throughout our business. We are committed to providing excellent quality in our service and the products we offer, by making insurance simple, reliable, affordable and trustworthy.”

Blue Insurances was the winner of the 2012 Travel Industry Entrepreneur of the Year Award, jointly organised by Irish Travel Trade News and the Association of Foreign Airlines.
