Sarah Slattery compiles a list of the top Travel Trade Deals from trade partners, including airlines’ seat sales, special offers from tour operators, hotel deals from bed banks, and the latest cruise deals.

Classic Resorts is offering 5-star Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort, Mexico, from €1,499 and 5-star Dreams La Romana Resort, Dominican Republic, from €1,459. Prices are based on two sharing for seven nights on an all-inclusive basis, and include flights, transfers and baggage. Travel from 1st September – 31st October. Book by 30th June.

Royal Caribbean International is offering a seven-night fly-cruise onboard Harmony of the Seas from €1,399 on 14th August. Price includes flights from Dublin and a Central Park view stateroom and a saving of €930 per person.

Thomson Cruises is offering a seven-night Canary Islands, Madeira and Morocco cruise onboard Thomson Majesty for €969 on 14th January. Price includes flights, transfers and a free all-inclusive upgrade.

Celebrity Cruises is offering a 10-night Italy and Greek Isles cruise onboard Celebrity Reflection from €1,558 on 9th September. Price includes flights from Dublin. Upgrade to an ocean-view or balcony stateroom and receive a free drinks package.

Sunway is offering a seven-night cruise onboard Norwegian Epic from €999 on 19th June. Price includes flights from Dublin and a free upgrade to balcony stateroom.

Sunway is also offering seven nights in the Monte Verde Apartments, Puerto Rico, from €369 on 4th June and €399 on 11th and 18th June. Price is based on three sharing for seven nights and includes flights, transfers and baggage. Supplement of €30 applies for two sharing.

Falcon Holidays’ last-minute deals include Turkey: Club Evin from €239; Crete: Mika Villas from €299; and Bulgaria: Silver Springs from €299. Prices are based on two sharing for seven nights departing this weekend and include flights, transfers and checked baggage.

Classic Collection Holidays is offering last-minute luxury in the brand new 5-star Admiral Grand Hotel on the Dubrovnik Riviera for €1,580 on 3rd June. Price includes flights, hotel on a half-board basis, and private transfers.

BookaBed’s family deals to Orlando include the International Palms Resort from €2,061, Rosen Inn International from €2,360, and the Enclave suites from €2,575. Prices include flights and hotel and are based on two adults and one child arriving 28th June for 12 nights. Supplement of €414 applies for two adults and two children.

Lowcostbeds June offers include Salou, Salou Pacific from €15; Majorca, Deya from €26; Algarve, Agua Marinha Hotel from €25. Prices are per person per night based on 7th of June arrival.

Wendy Wu Tours is offering savings of up to €1,000 per couple on selected tours flying with Emirates from Dublin this summer.

Aer Lingus’s North America summer sale includes New York from €325; Chicago €359 and Los Angeles €477. Prices are one way including taxes and charges. Book by 25th May for selected departures from 1st July – 22nd August.

Emirates’ seat sale includes Dubai from €509, Maldives €672, Cape Town €766, and Perth €918. Book by 31st May for selected departures until 10th December.

KLM’s seat sale includes Abu Dhabi from €409, Beijing from €449 and Johannesburg from €479. Book by 8th June.

Aer Lingus welcomed a piece of Irish aviation history into its hangar at Dublin airport today as it received a Douglas DC-3 aircraft hailing from the 1940s and 50s and freshly painted in the Aer Lingus livery of that era. The DC-3 was the fifth aircraft type to be operated by Aer Lingus in 1940 and at that time was part of a fleet of just 5, while today’s fleet now stands at 63 aircraft operating more than 100 routes to UK, Europe and North America. The DC-3 aircraft will feature in Bray Air Display and Foynes Air Show this weekend.
