Sarah Slattery compiles a list of the top Travel Trade Deals from trade partners, including airlines’ seat sales, special offers from tour operators, hotel deals from bed banks, and the latest cruise deals.

BookaBed has rates for the BH Mallorca from €27 and Club B Mallorca from €19 for summer 2017. Prices are per person per night, based on two sharing, for May arrivals.

Topflight’s late deals include Rimini from €519, half-board; Lido di Jesolo from €549, half-board; and Sorrento from €569, B&B. Prices include flights, transfers and checked baggage for seven nights, from 3rd – 4th September.

Falcon Holidays is offering seven nights in the Cay Beach Princess, Gran Canaria, from €699 on 31st December. Price includes flights, transfers and checked baggage.

Sunway is offering a three-night stay in the Affinia Manhattan Hotel, New York, and a seven-night transatlantic cruise from New York to Southampton onboard the 5-star Queen Mary 2 from €1,519, departing on 31st December. Price includes flights and an upgrade to a balcony cabin.

Thomson Cruises is offering a seven-day Iconic Islands cruise from Corfu from €1,159 on 9th September. Price includes flights, transfers and checked baggage.

Celebrity Cruises is offering free drinks, free upgrades, free wi-fi and free onboard spend for selected 2016 and 2017 bookings made by 31st August.

Royal Caribbean International is offering an eight-night Adriatic and Italy cruise from Venice to Barcelona, onboard Rhapsody of the Seas, from €999 on 28th October. Price includes flights from Dublin and transfers.

Uniworld is offering up to 50% off selected 2016 river cruises. Highlights include the Bordeaux, Vineyards and Chateaux cruise, was €4,592, now €2,689, and the Classic Christmas Markets cruise, was €3,168 now €1,669.

Aer Lingus’s Great Escape sale includes Britain from €19.99, Continental Europe from €29.99 and North America from €209. Book by 24th September for travel from 1st November to 31st March.

Emirates’ seat sale includes Dubai from €472, Hong Kong from €569, Mauritius from €874 and Auckland from €1,173. Book by 14th September for selected departures up to 15th June 2017.

Air France is offering Beijing from €516, Havana from €786, and Rio from €875. Book by 5th September for selected departures up to 24th May 2017.

British Airways’ seat sale includes Cape Town from €250, Penang from €280 and Sydney from €560. Prices are return but exclude taxes. Book by 20th September for selected departures up to 15th June 2017.

Island Escapes is offering free nights and a free all-inclusive upgrade in Kuramathi Island Resort, Maldives, for June and July 2017 arrivals. Prices are based on seven nights in a water villa with jacuzzi, sea plane transfers, and all-inclusive upgrade is €2,685 plus taxes of €306 per person.

Classic Resorts is offering seven nights all-inclusive in the Jolly Beach Resort and Spa, Barbados, from €1,399. Book by 21st September for travel between May – 20th June 2017.

Sunway is offering a four-night stay in the Stratosphere Hotel, Las Vegas, for €569 based on two sharing. Price includes flights from Dublin, departing 26th November.

SuperBreak is offering a Harry Potter Mystery Weekend on 1st October for €154 per person. Price includes a two-night stay in a 4-star hotel in Kings Cross, London, on a B&B basis and entry into the Harry Potter Studios. Price excludes flights.

Aer Lingus welcomed a piece of Irish aviation history into its hangar at Dublin airport today as it received a Douglas DC-3 aircraft hailing from the 1940s and 50s and freshly painted in the Aer Lingus livery of that era. The DC-3 was the fifth aircraft type to be operated by Aer Lingus in 1940 and at that time was part of a fleet of just 5, while today’s fleet now stands at 63 aircraft operating more than 100 routes to UK, Europe and North America. The DC-3 aircraft will feature in Bray Air Display and Foynes Air Show this weekend.
