Turkish Airlines Launches Premium Partnership with Borussia Dortmund

Turkish Airlines has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund, champions in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons of the German football Bundesliga, Germany’s top league. On 2nd May 2013, Turkish Airlines and Borussia Dortmund will meet to sign a three-year agreement.

The partnership represents a strong commitment for both sides and will involve numerous joint activities and programmes. Most importantly, Turkish Airlines will be the airline of choice for all BVB international flights. Turkish Airlines serves 12 German cities with around 250 flights a week. Then, from its hub in Istanbul, the airline offers connections that allow the team to travel across the world.

The Premium Partnership with BVB once again underlines Turkish Airlines’ commitment to align with the best. The club has won the German championship twice, is the current DFB Cup champion, and is also a strong performer in the Champion’s League. With eight German championship titles, three German DFB Cup titles and one Champion’s League title, Dortmund ranks fifth in the all-time German Bundesliga table.

As Europe’s Best Airline (2011 and 2012 Skytrax ranking), Turkish Airlines is a natural partner for Borussia Dortmund, combining excellence in sports with excellence in aviation and service. The football club stands for tradition, regional identity, hard work and successs – all principles that Turkish Airlines also values and strives to exhibit.
