Visit Florida Comes to Dublin, Colin Brodie Says Farewell

Visiting Dublin for perhaps the final time as Director of Visit Florida, Colin Brodie, who is retiring after 20 years, was delighted to present the fantastic destination that continues to be a major attraction for the Irish holiday maker in the USA.

The sunshine state attracted more than 100,000 Irish visitors last year and now, with Aer Lingus flying from Dublin to Orlando three times per week, expect to see an increase in those numbers.

It has also emerged that two-centre holidays are a growth sector.

Along with Colin were Oonagh McCullagh, Naples Marco Island / Everglades; Josaphine Ando, Visit Tampa Bay; and Frances Amissah, The Beaches of Fort Meyers and Sanibel. Aer Lingus was represented by John Keogh.

Ronan Gannon from Trailfinders was the winner of two tickets by Aer Lingus to  Orlando, Florida; six nights accommodation with Naples Marco Island / Everglades; three accommodation nights  in Tampa Bay; and $150 spending for Simon Shopping Mall.
