VisitScotland Selects Google Analytics Premium

UK digital marketing agency I Spy Marketing today announced that Scotland’s national tourist organisation, VisitScotland, is the first UK brand to sign up for the newly launched Google Analytics Premium (GA Premium), an enhanced version of its Google Analytics technology.

I Spy Marketing is one of the first wave of UK-based resellers to be authorised by Google to offer GA Premium and will be providing VisitScotland with assistance with configuration, training, technical support and analysis of the data output.

VisitScotland was impressed by the simplicity of the interface and data management and ownership that is offered by GA Premium over and above the other choices currently on the market. Paul Bruce, Analytics & Optimisation Manager, said: “Google’s ambition for its Premium product matches that of VisitScotland’s. Google Analytics Premium is not only competitive with other enterprise products on the market, it offers a level of innovation that allows us to connect all the digital touch points with a simple structured approach which is refreshing. The new product offers a clear and consistent approach to gaining visitor insight assisting us in making intelligent business decisions driven by those insights.

“I Spy Marketing’s expertise and close relationship with Google impressed us. The team clearly demonstrated their dedication to working closely with VisitScotland to make it a success for all parties.”

“We are delighted to have secured the first GA Premium customer in the UK and are very excited to be working with VisitScotland to help them implement and utilise the technology. Using our conversion and analytics expertise we will be able to help them gain a deeper understanding of their visitors, which will in turn assist them to make informed business and marketing decisions,” said Nick Jones, Managing Director, I Spy Marketing.

Google Analytics has become almost the de facto analytics tool for the online marketing manager in the UK and Ireland – especially for mid-sized businesses. The new GA Premium offers marketers more powerful analysis; quicker insights and therefore the ability to make smarter decisions; and on-hand support to maximise their investment in the technology. In addition, GA Premium provides advanced attribution modeling techniques, allowing insights into marketing channel interactions.
