Declan Mescall ‘Bows’ Out

After 34 years service with the company, Declan Mescall, Head of Passenger Sales for Irish Ferries, was presented with a specially commissioned painting of their Dublin – Holyhead cruise ferry ‘Ulysses’ viewed from the bow with their fast ferry Jonathan Swift alongside.

Declan is pictured with marketing director Tony Kelly after he had been presented with the painting at a pre-retirement event attended by colleagues at the company’s head office in Dublin.

Declan will be succeeded as Head of Passenger Sales by Dermot Merrigan, who himself has spent 22 years with the company, first as Commercial Co-ordinator with Irish Ferries Holidays and, more recently, as Contact Centre Manager.
